Craig Hoyland spoke to Greenalls PSO News today. The talismanic striker told us about his former clubs, his life outside of the game and who he would pick to go on a desert island with him!

Name: Craig Hoyland

Position(s): Centre Forward/ Attacking Midfield

Job outside of football: Learner Coach – I work in a Pupil Referral Unit for excluded pupils in Warrington. I specialise in Outdoor Education and Behaviour Management

Previous Clubs: Probably not enough space on here to name them! Best ones before Greenalls were Atherton Colleries and Winsford. Most recently during my rehabilitation period I’ve featured for Lomax FC

Seasons at GPSO:2

GPSO game I most look forward to: Eagle Sports FC

Best GPSO: Coming off the bench 2-1 down in the guardian cup semi final and helping us progress to the final!

GPSO aims: To establish myself as a first team regular, get fit and help the team win as many things as possible in the future

If I were stuck on a dessert island with one GPSO member it would be…

Jimmy Bush

He’s my pal and he’s always good entertainment – also if we were to be attacked by a dangerous animal I’d be confident I could get away faster than him.
