Venue: Bennetts Rec Date: 11/04/13 Kick-Off: 6:30pm

Greenalls reserves will be looking to avoid a potential banana skin as they look to consolidate their title challenge when they take on Daten reserves tonight.

Having only lost one game since October and in the middle of a run which has seen them win 11 of their past 13 games, Greenalls’ second string have put together a superb string of results to see them open up an eight point lead at the top of the table. However, with Styal in possession of two games in hand which could potentially see their lead cut to five, Greenalls must keep the momentum going and dismiss any thoughts of complacency.

In selections news, the attacking duo of Andrew Moore and Jon Leatherbarrow, who started Saturday’s game at Poynton, both miss out due to work commitments. However, it is expected that Danny Wilcock, who continues to impress, will have a part to play alongside Neil Sutch who returns and is available for selection for boss Lee Webster.

The manager will be looking for his in-form midfield, in particularly Neil Glendinning and Captain Glen Percival, to impress again and take control of a game that is there for the winning. The two teams last met in August, with Greenalls running out comfortable 4-0 winners. Nevertheless, this time round, a much tighter affair is expected.

The league title is within sight but before the green ticker tape can be released the reserves must keep their concentration and give maximum commitment in each game continuing with tonight as they look to take all three points.
