Both Greenalls teams suffered postponements today as the weather once again won the day.
Neither side has moved from their league positions, sixth and top respectively.
The first team were set to travel to Gamesley without manager Dave Bush and were nursing a few injuries and a couple of suspensions, but after a decent run of form they will be disappointed with today’s cancelled fixture.
The reserves were set for a crunch match with fifth placed Styal as they looked to stretch their lead at the top of the Cheshire Reserve Division. Styal now have up to five games in hand on the teams around them.
In the First Division, leaders Knutsford won again, beating Styal 4-2. One of the teams Greenalls are trying to catch, Middlewich, also collected three points on the road at Rylands.
For the reserves, second placed Linotype Cheadle also saw their game against Poynton off, but there was an emphatic 11-1 win for third placed Eagle, and a win for Middlewich, taking them above Styal.
Both teams will hope for better luck to fulfil their fixtures in the coming weeks.
