Greenalls PSO Reserves are out to rediscover their title form at Whaley Bridge this weekend as they look to stretch ahead of the chasing title pack again.
Fifth placed Whaley are way off the pace trailing Greenalls by 19 points, but will feel they have a chance this weekend having inflicted one of the three league defeats on Lee Webster’s men already this term.
Greenalls were unfortunate last time out as Linotype Cheadle fielded a strong squad closing the league leaders to within goal difference. In doing so, PSO suffered consecutive defeats for the first time this season.
Webster’s team are at almost full strength as they welcome back striker Jonny Leatherbarrow from an achilles injury. Winger Luke Mccoy and midfield leader Neil Glendinning return to further help the Greens cause. Veteran striker Andrew Moore and defender Dale Read are the only Greenalls PSO absentees tomorrow.
Greenalls will remember the sensational run of form they went on after the teams’ reverse fixture, as Webster’s side went on to win seven on the bounce to race clear at the top of the league.
With just over a third of the season remaining, Greenalls know now is the time to show their early season credentials and find form when it matters to push home their title aspirations.
